An empty mind with what eyes have seen

by Thakol Kao sa-ad 20 Nov - 20 Dec 2008 from November 20 – December 20, 2008. at Gallery VER Opening on November 20, 2008. at 7 p.m. ผมเริ่มด้วยการทาสีที่ราบเรียบลงบนผืนผ้าใบอันดับแรก สีใดสีหนึ่งที่ผุดขึ้นมาในความคิด ระหว่างที่พิจารณาภาพถ่ายต้นแบบที่อยู่ในมือได้ถูกผสมขึ้นและค่อยๆทาลงไปอย่างช้าๆ ในขณะที่ความรู้สึกสัมผัสปรากฏอยู่อย่างชัดเจนที่ปลายพู่กัน ซึ่งบางครั้งราบรื่นบางครั้งกระด้างและมีเสียงแกรกกรากชวนให้สงสัย ผมจ้องมองไปตามร่องรอยที่เกิดขึ้นและขนานกันไปของฝีแปลง ผมพยายามประคับประคองมันอย่างตั้งใจแม้ว่าในที่สุดร่องรอยเหล่านั้นจะไม่ได้หลงเหลืออยู่เลยก็ตาม กับความพยายามที่ดูเหมือนจะว่างเปล่านี้บางครั้งก็ชวนให้ผมสงสัย และหาเหตุผลเพื่อที่จะมาอธิบาย แต่ท้ายที่สุดเหตุผลพวกนั้นกลับไม่ได้มีความหมายกับผมซักเท่าไรนัก เพราะผมอาจเพียงแค่พึงพอใจกับการทาสีลงไปให้เต็มพื้นที่จนเกิดเป็นเพียงระนาบสีที่แบนราบเพียงเท่านั้น ด้วยผีแปลงที่เป็นระเบียบและเรียบง่ายที่สุด ในขณะที่ค่อยๆลากพู่กันความคิดเคลื่อนไหวและหยุดนิ่ง ทั้งหมดที่ผมต้องทำก็เพียงไล่ตามมันไปอย่างช้าๆ ในขณะที่ตายังคงจ้องมองไปในระนาบ ......... ภาพที่กำหนดว่าจะเขียนค่อยๆถูกซ้อนเข้ามาในความคิด ระเบียบแบบแผนได้เปิดเผยออกมา จากชั้นสีหนึ่งสู่อีกชั้นสีหนึ่ง ลำดับขั้นตอนได้ปรากฏขึ้น ......... ผมเพียงแค่ไล่ตามมันไป จดจำและทบทวนขั้นตอนเหล่านั้น .......... ในขณะที่ดวงตายังคงจับจ้องไปในระนาบของสี ความสะเทือนใจค่อยๆผุดขึ้นมาจากต้นทางที่ห่างไกล ความคิดฝันที่สูญหายค่อยๆหวนคืนและชี้แนะภาพที่อยู่ตรงหน้า ...... ผมพยายามไล่ตามสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นไปตามจังหวะของมัน ที่บางครั้งอืดอาด บางครั้งเร่งเร้า ............
