Overview
Russamee Rungjang (2009), by Bangkok-based artist Arin Rungjang, whose artistic trajectories often interrogate and interpret around spatial condition of space and place in everyday life. His works triggers dissolution of conventional barrier between the private and public space. Arin always applies household objects, by incorporating them into the whole process. Later epitomize his artistic procedure by transposing or transforming those objects into peculiar rearrangement. In order to convey new interpretation of dwelling in place. Previously, Arin presented his work at Guangzhou Triennial.
 
In Russamee Rungjang (2009). Arin will transpose his inner truth that was suppressed under consciousness. His inner truth is transformed and exposed into partitioned space shaped as a circular curtained wall. Together with a video installation, shoot from the summit of Dusit Thani hotel where his mother used to work few decades ago.
 
Arin now lives and works in Bangkok and also be a member of As Yet Unnamed; an artist collective grouped since 1999.
