The first list has been announced with Rirkrit Tiravanija as an Artistic Director at Thailand Biennale, Chiang Mai 2023. Under the concept of “The Open World”, named after a Buddha image at Wat Pa Sak. This exhibition represents the opening of the three worlds: the god world, the underworld, and the human world, and artists will use it to explore various themes such as traditions, mythology, geopolitics, and ecology, to envision a better future.
