Melted Stars was developed from a long-term audiovisual research project that began in 2016. The new video installation explores the changing landscapes of northern Thailand and nearby regions, once used as strategic sites during wartime to enforce colonial and political power. Through filmed observations, fieldwork, interviews, and archival research, Supaparinya investigates shifts in infrastructure and landscape while revealing how memory is formed, transmitted, and remembered.
