The ‘Ocular Vocabulary’ exhibition at the Silverlens Manila features the work of Mit Jai Inn, who uses a visual language-game to explore the malleability and relative nature of meaning, with meaning emerging within the context of individual experience. The exhibition includes several ongoing series such as Actants, Marking Stones, Book, Capsule, and Grid, with Marking Stones being a participatory work that invites viewers to take a painted object made from recycled material in exchange for a promise.
