Atit Sornsongkram creates illusion with photography technique to question about the realness in photography. All images that we see are created with complicated, and various processes and composed under photographic condition. He puts effort on image editing which is similar to the way the painter paints on canvas. However, Atit’s work has different visual result. His work bothers our perception. It is not smooth like what we expect. To look at his photography makes us questioning about the realness in the image under the neatly composed beauty. We want to believe in what we firstly see but there are something different from what we expect. Space, still-life, landscape, graphic and abstract form seem to be a part of distorted architectural structures. The resolution and the blurred focus with the delicacy in image editing skill make his work attractive and mysterious at the same time.
